- Develop and implement marketing and communications plans for all operational areas within Auxiliary ServicesCoordinate with area managers for promotions and events to communicate and gather feedback with students such as orientation presentations, tours, information fairs, etc.Collaborate with University Marketing and Communications for best practices, brand standards and resourcesDevelop and deepen relationships with student groups (New Student & family programs, Housing & Residence Life, Student Government, etc.)Design, format, edit and maintain Auxiliary Services departmental landing pageServe as Content Owner for Auxiliary Services web pages, ensuring that pages meet Digital Strategy web design standards and deadlines. Proofread and edit where needed.Serve as point of contact between Auxiliary Services, A&F divisional Communications Officer and Digital Strategy for web content and designMonitor and edit website after hours in case of emergencyAssist Director with financial review of all third party contracts to ensure contract obligations (rent payments, commissions, maintenance updates, etc.) are being metFacilitate the RFP and vendor selection process for contracted servicesOrganize, administer, and coordinate multiple facets of departmental programs, projects, and strategic initiatives. Includes planning, preparations, and evaluation of content, which may require collaboration with internal and external contactsAssist with planning departmental budgetsTrack KPIs for each service unit utilizing a dashboard format to keep abreast of performance throughout the department. Establish KPIs in concert with services unit managers, routinely gather data, incorporate best practices, and provide feedback to University officials as neededSupport other units within department to cover staff vacations and vacancies. Support the director on an as-needed basisPerform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably Marketing One year of experienceHigh-level professional communication skills, verbal and writtenCollaborative working styleSkilled at developing professional networks and relationshipsPresentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
