The Executive Education department is responsible for the development and management of the school's non-degree program offerings. Executive Education also provides an ideal vehicle for the GSB to experiment with innovation in both content and pedagogy.

The department seeks a Director of Early Career Online Business Education to expand our online portfolio to meet the needs of early career professionals. In this position, you will work closely with faculty and staff to bring impactful programs to market and ensure their successful delivery and growth.

Your primary responsibilities include:
  • Oversee design, development, and delivery of multiple online educational products aimed at early career professionals.
  • Define and conduct market research, including competitive benchmarking and identification and analysis of market opportunities. Use the results to make strategic decisions about product design and positioning.
  • Collaboratively define business objectives, and create and communicate key metrics of success across the organization to educate and influence stakeholders.
  • Ensure business objectives are met, including developing, managing and executing strategic go-to-market and outreach plans.
  • Build partnerships with other school, department, product, service, program, and event and/or channel managers.
  • May oversee event management to support business objectives.
  • Manage key vendor and consultant relationships.
  • Scope and manage project/program budget(s).
  • May oversee interns and other contingent staff; provide staff training.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • Strong customer orientation, including understanding market trends
  • Successful experience with project management and/or product management
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, action-oriented, and collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills


In addition, preferred requirements include:
  • Experience with higher education and/or online education desired
  • Advanced degree desired; MBA preferred
