Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting

The University of Lynchburg, a private, regional university in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position in accounting at the assistant/associate professor level for the 2022-23 academic year for the College of Business.

The ideal candidate will have a background in auditing and tax accounting, and will be expected to teach a variety of lower and upper division accounting and tax courses, as well as general business classes and potentially statistics and Excel as needed. Professional certification such as a CPA and/or CMA is required as well as masters in accounting, or business administration with 18 graduate credit hours in accounting. A PhD or DBA is a plus; candidates that are ABD are also highly encouraged to apply. The candidate should strive for teaching excellence in support of the institution’s liberal arts mission.
