THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, LOS ANGELES, SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications from lateral candidates for full-time, tenured and tenure-track faculty positions expected to begin July 1, 2022. We seek candidates across all areas of law, with some areas of particular interest that include first year courses, Race and the Law, Antitrust, Employment Law, Criminal Procedure, and American Indian Law. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research or community service has prepared them to contribute to a campus climate that supports equality and diversity.

In addition to those with specializations in the above subject areas, and as part of UCLA's Rising to the Challenge Faculty Hiring Initiative, we are also seeking junior lateral candidates whose scholarly work, teaching and/or mentoring focuses on Black experiences. This search is a partnership between the School of Law and the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies as part of the campus-wide effort to rise to the challenge of racial and social justice at UCLA, sponsored by the Office of the Chancellor and the Executive Vice Chancellor & Provost.

All candidates must hold a J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree prior to date of employment. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
