About the job The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Butler University seeks a faculty member for a 10-month non-tenure-track lecturer position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This position requires a collaborative and innovative approach to face-to-face and online course development and instruction in pathophysiology, anatomy, and physiology, and University core courses in their area of interest or expertise. While research or scholarship is not required for this position, Facilities and collaborations are available to support those efforts if desired. Our mission is to provide innovative and interprofessional educational experiences in the health sciences. Requirements and Expectations The hired applicant will: Possess a doctoral degree (all but dissertation candidates will be considered) in the biomedical sciences (e.g., physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry). Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience in human physiology and pathophysiology at the undergraduate and graduate levels Provide innovative and varied learning experiences in both face-to-face and online formats. The Butler Center for Academic Technology (CAT) ( https://www.butler.edu/cat ) supports learning by working with faculty to promote thoughtful and effective use of academic technology and instructional approaches.  Emphasize student-centered learning and the development of students’ awareness and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion as future health care professionals. Provide academic advising and professional mentoring to students Participate in committees/work groups within the Dept. College and University and professional organizations.
