Job DescriptionThe Electronic Structure Group at UMKC is seeking a part time postdoctoral position to join our team. This position is in support of a computational research project that address DFT based calculations to investigate metallic materials such as High entropy alloys and Ni-based superalloys. The successful candidate is expected to plan, conduct, and analyze first principle calculations; to interpret the result; to drive the progress of the project; and to publish the results.
Minimum QualificationsThe candidate should have the experience and record of working in this area and be able to use the supercomputers at the national energy research supercomputing center (NERSC).
Full Time/Part TimePart time, non-benefit eligible
