The Application Support Group within the Office of Advancement Services specializes in application development and support for the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. The unit’s objective is to create, customize, modify, and support applications and reports that enhance the division’s ability to achieve its fundraising goals as well as to improve other processes that affect the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:The Application Support Group within the Office of Advancement Services specializes in application development and support for the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. The unit’s objective is to create, customize, modify, and support applications and reports that enhance the division’s ability to achieve its fundraising goals as well as to improve other processes that affect the organization.
Position Summary:This is an application developer position housed within the Office of Advancement Services within the Development & Alumni Relations Division (DAR). Reporting to the Associate Director of Application Development, this position provides technical (i.e. web-based) solutions across the Division. Examples of solutions created or managed could include, but are not limited to, online donation pages, event registration pages, custom web applications, click to configure solutions, and content management system support. Tasks could include planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and help-desk support. This position must work closely with other DAR staff, as well as staff from across campus.

- Experience working with a Content Management System, such as WordPress
- Experience with programming languages such as PHP, Python, Node.js or Java.
- Experience working with a database such as MySQL or MS SQL.
- Ability to interact verbally and in writing with both technical and non-technical audiences
