Organizational Unit Overview:

The Department of Campus living is a university auxiliary, that provides student housing and dining programs to ECU students. The unit exists in the competitive Greenville housing market, so customer service is essential. The department is focused on supporting the academic mission of the university.

Campus Living Staff need to interact directly with student staff. Staff in the department also need treat students and their families with courtesy and respect, while upholding department policies and procedures.

The unit is broken down in to four primary areas: residence life, operations, finance and dining.

Job Duties :

This is the lead position in terms of training new staff on CBORD HMS and training existing staff on new functions in the software. This position will develop policies, documentation, and training in terms of the use of the CBORD HMS system, and implement security policies within the software and the department to meet University security standards.

The negative results of inaccuracy or mistakes have increased significantly, adding to the pressure on this position in terms of reporting. This position must create new reports that create student fee charges in Banner for group billing of housing and dining charges.

Minimum Education/Experience:

Graduation from high school and one year in the field of technology related to the position’s role. Computer coursework may be substituted year-for- year for the required experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Journey level requires an additional six months experience. Advanced level requires an additional one year of experience.
