TDOH Evaluation Manager - College of Nursing

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Nursing is seeking application for the TDOH Program Evaluator.  The Program Evaluator will be responsible for a range of activities related to the evaluation of the TDOH Community Nurse Navigator Project. Included are activities such as data collection, data cleaning, data analysis and reporting. 

Main Job Responsibilities:

Evaluation of Community Nurse Navigator Grant:

 

    Oversight, completion, and communication coordination of formative and summative project evaluationCreate process for data collection and data storage in compliance with university guidelinesCollaboration with and support grant team members to achieve the highest level of grant evaluation quality outcomes practicable. Solves problems, optimizes processes and functions, scheduling, and tracking. Creates time lines for evaluation and follows up on deadlines and tracking actions, ensuring evaluation processes are completed in timely manner and by agreed-upon dates. Responsible for entering, cleaning, analyzing and storing all data - in compliance with departmental, university and state guidelines and regulations.Develops, submits and updates IRB approvals Supervises the GRA
 

Communication:

 

    Participate in and/or provide presentations/communication briefings at meetings and/or other gatherings.Takes the lead on writing reports Actively participates in grant related meetings Communicates with team members using reminders and follow-up communication to ensure evaluation deadlines are met. Reports monthly to the grant team on evaluation outcomes to date Collaborates with Principal Investigator and CON public relations to ensure timely communication of grant activities publicly and internally (e.g. media, social media) to broad stakeholder base.Assists with the development of manuscripts, abstracts and presentations.


Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

    Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationship with a variety of constituencies including staff, students, faculty, consultants, community partners.Excellent research skills (qualitative and quantitative)Strong organizational, interpersonal, and reporting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and other research and data software required to fulfill role.Knowledge/command of the overall grant purpose, goals, and objectives.
 

 

Required Education & Experience:

 

    Bachelor's degree in related fieldMinimum 1 year of experience in program evaluation or related fieldExperience working with diverse, multicultural groups, including racial and/or ethnic minorities and other traditionally underrepresented groups.
 

Preferred Education & Experience:

 

    2+ years of experience in program evaluationGrant management and reporting experience desiredExperience working in communities desired
