Job Summary
The Department of Radiology, at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, has an opening for a full-time remote teleradiology daytime radiologist to provide abdominal imaging subspecialty reads.

Daytime schedule to work alongside on-site members of the Abdominal Section. The position will be remote teleradiology from your home anywhere in the United States or local in beautiful Colorado. 

The desired individual would enjoy reading challenging cases in an environment that supports clinical research. The candidate will work (remotely) as part of an approximately 12 member onsite team of abdominal imagers to interpret tertiary care abdominal images including MR, CT, US, and GI/GU imaging.  We perform state-of-the-art imaging in all modalities with a large volume of oncology, as well as transplant, ED, inpatient care and general abdominal imaging.  Participation and collaboration with our clinical colleagues through interdisciplinary conferences is an ongoing and important aspect of our work in the section. This is a teaching program, and if desired the candidate would work part of the time remotely to read out and teach residents and fellows.  Occasional remote teaching sessions and lectures would also be encouraged.

This is an opportunity to join a progressive department and institution, on a modern state-of-the-art medical campus. We are open to candidates at Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and full-Professor levels.

Duties  

Daytime remote coverage 

    8 am to 5:30 pm MST  (~ 2x/mo 7 am – 4:30 pm MST)No overnight coverage required 2 half administrative days per month Evening shift ~2/month (2 pm – 10 pm) 7 weekends/year (approx) 
Job Responsibilities: Interpretation of all abdominal emergency, critical care, IP and outpatient imaging studies performed. This will include, but is not limited to MR, CT, US, with occasional CR/DR images. Participation in interdisciplinary conferences.  If desired the candidate would work part of the time remotely to read out and teach residents and fellows.  Occasional remote teaching sessions and lectures would also be encouraged. 

Salary Range:

The salary range (or hiring range) has been established at:

Sr. Instructor - $400,000 - $450,000

Assistant Professor- $400,000 - $450,000

Associate Professor- $400,000 - $450,000

Professor- $400,000 - $450,000

Faculty are elligible for bonus.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (All Ranks)

Senior Instructor: 

    Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR or AOBR Certification or eligible by time of hire, completed abdominal fellowship (or equivalent) by time of hire.
Assistant Professor:

    Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR or AOBR Certification or eligible by time of hire, completed abdominal fellowship (or equivalent) by time of hire.
Associate Professor:

    Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR or AOBR Certification or eligible by time of hire, completed abdominal fellowship (or equivalent) by time of hire.
Professor:

    Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR or AOBR Certification or eligible by time of hire, completed abdominal fellowship (or equivalent) by time of hire.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Required Competencies (All Ranks)

Competency is required in the performance of radiology, as it relates to the emergency, in-patient acute-care settings and subspecialty outpatient abdominal imaging.

Preferred Qualifications (All Ranks)

The individual would enjoy reading challenging cases and teaching residents, in an environment that supports clinical research.
