Position Information: Description

The Multimedia Software Developer will create interactive multimedia software and web-based training. Applicant will work closely with clients and Aerospace Network staff to define, develop, test, and implement on-line and computer-based training aids. The work produced by the Multimedia Software Developer must meet the high standards of UND Aerospace with great attention to detail and technical accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Multimedia Software Development Design, code, document, test, and implement web applications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot web applications.Maintain on-line environments that support web applications.Work with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of all materials.
  • Stay current with the latest front and backend web technologies, frameworks, and practices.
  • Documentation and recordsTrack and record hours worked on each project.
  • Maintain other documentation as necessary for duties and responsibilities outlined above.Required Competencies
      Good written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.Attention to details.
    Minimum Requirements
      Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and experience.Experience with web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as JQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React, etc.A portfolio of work must be provided at or before an interview.Successful completion of criminal history records check.

    Preferred Qualifications
      Experience with responsive and mobile development. Visual design skills and experience, including 2D/3D illustration & animation. Experience with virtual reality and video game development, instructional design.Aviation experience.
    Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification

    $50,000-$60,000 / year/Non-Exempt/Benefited/Full-Time

    Work Schedule/Start DateTypically Monday-Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
