The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for (2) 1.0 full-time faculty at the rank of Clinical Instructor or above for a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to provide full-scope clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology as a member of the University’s Women Care practice. Outpatient duties include primarily obstetrics along with gynecologic and contraceptive care. This job will also include staffing of the the OB Inpatient Labor and Delivery and post-partum unit, and possibly future participation in the inpatient or outpatient gynecologic service. Inpatient labor and delivery services will be delivered as part of an interprofessional education program with the CNM leading a group of learners to include medical students, midwifery students, and family medicine and obstetrics residents. A typical week will be approximately 2 days of clinic and 2 days of labor and delivery.

Salary Range:

The salary range (or hiring range) has been established at:

Instructor: $95,490-$100,256

Senior Instructor: $100,257-$111,529

Assistant Professor: $111,530-125,673

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications – Instructor

  • Certified Nurse-Midwife licensed in the State of Colorado. 
  • Current RN, APN, and RXN licensures in good standing (Any State)
  • Could be working toward CO clinical licenses during application process and registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies. Must have Colorado licensures by date of hire.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNM in full scope obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

    Preferred Qualifications for Instructor:

    • Limited OB Ultrasound skills
    • Experience as a clinical educator
    Minimum Qualifications – Senior Instructor

    • Certified Nurse-Midwife licensed in the State of Colorado. 
    • Current RN, APN, and RXN licensures in good standing (Any State)
    • Could be working toward CO clinical licenses during application process and registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies. Must have Colorado licensures by date of hire.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNM in full scope obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

    Preferred Qualifications for Senior Instructor:

    • Limited OB Ultrasound skills
    • Experience as a clinical educator
    Minimum Qualifications – Assistant Professor

    • Certified Nurse-Midwife licensed in the State of Colorado. 
    • Current RN, APN, and RXN licensures in good standing (Any State)
    • Could be working toward CO clinical licenses during application process and registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies. Must have Colorado licensures by date of hire.
  • A Doctoral Degree in nurse-midwifery (either a DNP or PhD)
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a CNM in full scope obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

    Preferred Qualifications – Assistant Professor

    • Limited OB Ultrasound skills
    • Experience as clinical educator
