Job Description
The General Internal Medicine Division in the Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine has openings for academic hospitalists at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus (UMMC MTC), located in downtown Baltimore.  This position will provide attending hospitalist responsibilities on our non-teaching Direct Care Hospitalist Service and on the internal medicine resident teaching service.  Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be dependent upon selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.  We offer an excellent salary and benefits package through the State of Maryland.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess outstanding clinical and organizational skills, and a strong commitment to quality patient care.  All candidates must be board certified/eligible in internal medicine and eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland.  Applicants must be eligible for US employment immediately and for at least one year from hire date.
