Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions; or High School diploma/GED and 6 years progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of the PT program requirements and provide information to interested parties; proficient in checking the status of each applicant´s application; evaluate all of the applicant transcripts by calculating GPAs, check GRE scores, observation hours, letters of reference; proficient with entering grades; ability to write emails with proper format, punctuation, spelling/grammar; ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times; conduct orientation of students. Able to maintain database on applicant information; update student registration information; problem solve through registration issues. Must be proficient in Excel. Will be utilizing AU applications that include SLATE and Banner. Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in Excel; good communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university with two-three years of experience related to enrollment services and credit evaluation or related field.
  • Preference given to individuals with experience in Banner, SLATE, Reporting systems. Transfer articulation or other student information systems.
Responsibilities The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Populate Excel spreadsheets and rank applicants for admissions based on set criteria. Maintain spreadsheet data base of applicant characteristics and qualifications. Communicate with Chair, PD and admissions committee to ensure application process runs smoothly and classes are filled in a timely fashion; maintain contact with applicants on status, provide information to applicants and assist with admissions process.
  • Evaluate each prospective student transcript by grade conversion and GPA calculations. Create a file for each application and maintain files for reference by Chair, PD, and admissions committee. Counsel prospective students on admission requirements and assist with Closer Look Tours and applicant tours. Notify new applicants of admission status and acceptance; assist students in admissions process; organize new student orientation
  • Submit required details for all courses in the curriculum, curriculum inventory and class rosters in Banner to Registrar’s office each semester; perform overrides in Banner to allow students to register for courses; coordinate classroom services to ensure that all courses have appropriate classroom space scheduled
  • Submit student withdrawal and add/drop forms
  • Notify students of instructions for registration, including dates, location, CRN numbers and credit hours
  • Maintain student files for three concurrent classes (110-120 students), assist with procurement of ID badges, create a picture directory, and track requirements for registration
  • Maintain Access and WebAdmit applicant database; pull information from PTCAS to SLATE to facilitate admissions process, coordinate interviews and interview session, update PTCAS website yearly; problem solve through issues with PTCAS and SLATE to maximize efficiency and customer service.
  • Greet guests when entering the suite. Assist with incoming calls. Responsible for scheduling patients for Christ Community Health Services to ensure a full schedule is maintained for faculty and students
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
