The Department of Athletics at Kutztown University invites applications for the position of Full Time Football Coach Defensive Coordinator. Kutztown University is an NCAA Division II member which competes in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The Assistant Coach is responsible for administering and/or assisting with the administration of all areas related to the success of a football program within the Division II intercollegiate program – recruiting, discipline, management, budget administration, scheduling, scouting, summer sports camp, NCAA compliance, student affairs and academics, equipment management, training and strength development. Program promotion, public relations appearances, and media-related activities are expected as well as participation and coordination of fund-raising activities.
- 5 years college coaching experience required
- Demonstrated ability in skill development, academic support, and an understanding of NCAA rules compliance
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Preference will be given to candidates with 5 years experience in the defensive area, and demonstrated ability to recruit in the tri-state area
