Job Description:

The University of Florida, Department of Medicine, and Division of Cardiovascular Medicine are seeking Assistant/Associate/Full Professors with innovative leadership skills and outstanding collaborative skills to become an integral member of the Division’s research program. The UF division of Cardiology has a strong history of NIH, DoD, PCORI, VA and Industry sponsored research. Applicants should have a record of distinguished accomplishments and a funding history for developing innovative, investigator initiated research as PI for senior faculty and Co-I for junior faculty in investigation. This leadership position will include mentoring new investigators, fostering a progressive and dynamic research environment, and promoting training in research. Responsibilities will be completely research based, combining clinical expertise with clinical trial operations. Strong relationships with research consortiums and industry partners are desired.

Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have an MD, PhD, or equivalent professional degree. Candidates must have excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Will consider candidates with a variety of experience levels and who have an interest in basic or clinical research.Special Instructions to Applicants:
