Princeton University invites applications for an assistant professor position in the field of sustainable energy, engineering, and technology policy in the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment (acee.princeton.edu). We invite candidates from all relevant disciplines in engineering and the physical and social sciences to apply. The successful candidate will be jointly appointed between the Andlinger Center and an academic department consistent with the candidate's expertise. We are specifically interested in candidates with a strong track record and expertise in energy economics, energy finance, decision and behavioral sciences, or law related to energy technology and the environment. Particular research areas of interest include issues of policy and technology adoption related to energy transitions, greenhouse gas emissions control, urban infrastructure and resilience, and coastal adaptation. This opportunity is also open to broader areas in energy and the environment including data science expertise, and sustainable and resilient infrastructure and systems, and related areas. We are particularly interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of our academic community.
