The Department of Art and Archaeology at Princeton University has an occasional need for lecturers to teach precepts (sections) in our 100 and 200 level courses including An Introduction to the History of Architecture in the spring 2022 semester. Appointment duty time is subject to enrollments and position may begin January 16, 2022 depending on the needs of the department. Duties include leading weekly discussions, attending course lectures, meeting with the course instructor(s), holding regular office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Each hour-long precept assumes at least two hours of preparation. An advanced degree is required. Please provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching interest, and the names and contact information for three references.
