14-Feb-2022 Close All Job SummaryThe Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor (Instructor) position. This position will support the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering and the fulfillment of the department’s educational mission by teaching computer engineering courses at CU Boulder.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will BeAssistant Teaching Professors are responsible for teaching 4-5 courses a year, mentoring undergraduate students, and providing oversight to the undergraduate curriculum.What You Should KnowThis is a non-tenure track appointment; the successful candidate will likely be appointed as an Assistant Teaching Professor (Instructor) on the Computer Engineering faculty, although appointment as an Associate Teaching Professor (Senior Instructor) is possible depending on experience and qualifications. The position will report to the Chair of the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering.

Be Boulder.What We RequireGraduate degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related field.What You Will NeedCandidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate education. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in either hardware or software aspects of computer engineering, VLSI, or embedded systems.
