The UCI Paul Merage School of Business is seeking candidates to fill one position in Organization and Management as Assistant Professor of Teaching (working title) to begin as early as July 1, 2022. This position is within the Lecturer with Security of Employment series. Achieving Security of Employment requires, in addition to excellent teaching and service, externally recognized professional and scholarly (published academic or applied research) achievement in the candidate's specific discipline and/or in pedagogy. We are seeking individuals with a commitment to excellence in teaching and research (academic, professional, and/or pedagogic) in Organization and Management and in service to the University and the Academy. A Ph.D. in management, organizational theory, sociology, psychology, or relevant discipline is required (must be completed by July 1, 2022). Candidates who have shown excellence in teaching in Master-level classes are strongly preferred. Salary will be commensurate with prior performance and experience.

You will be expected to teach across all programs (undergraduate, graduate (Masters and doctoral)), some of which may occur at night and/or on weekends, including summers. You may be expected to develop on-line or hybrid courses consistent with the School's objectives and teaching needs.

As with any incomplete application, the application will not receive further consideration. Although all applicants for faculty recruitments must complete the entire application, only finalists (i.e., those to whom the department or other hiring unit would like to extend a formal offer) considered for Ladder Rank Professor or Professor of Teaching series, at all ranks (i.e., assistant, associate, and full) positions will be subject to institutional reference checks.
