0900702 - Institute for Health Logistics and Analytics

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of the Institute for Health Logistics & Analytics, the Business and Finance Coordinator will support the Institute's mission to transform the health and well-being in communities through evidence-based practices and technology integration. The Business and Finance Coordinator will support the coordination and monitoring of operational activities for the Institute. The Business & Finance Coordinator will also work closely with community partners to direct logistical and clerical support activities for special projects at the Institute.

  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Ensure that the programs and services offered by the Institute contribute to the Institute's mission
  • Monitor the day-to-day delivery of special projects at the Institute to maintain or improve quality or processes
  • Provide budgetary and administrative support including weekly budget reports and processing reimbursement requests
  • Serve as a key liaison to other departments that have specific business functions
  • Assist in coordinating, providing input for, and improving business operational activities
  • Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating Institute activities and projects
  • Coordinates the onboarding of new vendors
  • Design and generate reports in support of special projects
  • Administer and monitor budgets, accounts, policies and procedures relating to the operational activities of the Institute or special projects housed at the Institute
  • Communicate results and progress with vendors and funders on a regular basis

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Required Experience
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in administrative role
  • Two (2) or more years of experience with project coordination
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in administering financial processes
  • Experience writing, proofreading, editing, and reviewing documents and presentations for public, non-academic audiences

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business, finance, communications or related field

Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a university setting
  • Experience with business contracting
  • Experience working in a healthcare or public health setting
  • Experience managing financial processes
  • Experience developing financial reports and monitoring processes

Proposed Salary
$24.04 per hour
