Job Description:

The Eugene F. Brigham Finance, Insurance & Real Estate Department at the University of Florida, Warrington College of Business is seeking to hire one non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor in Finance to start fall 2022.

This position is targeted towards experienced candidates with effective university-level teaching experience, research publications in the top three finance journals (JFE, JF, and RFS) and whose research emphasis is in the FinTech area, including finance-related research that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and quantitative finance approaches.

This position is part of a broader $70 million University of Florida initiative in the AI/ML space (#AI@UF; https://news.ufl.edu/2020/07/nvidia-partnership/).

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience. Competitive with top Business Schools.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Finance. In evaluating applicants, the search committee will prioritize applicants with outstanding research productivity and effective teaching at the university level. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of publications in top-tier finance journals.
