The Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology is the second largest engineering college in Georgia with over 5,000 students. The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering consists of over 700 undergraduate and graduate students and 10 full-time faculty members. The faculty are committed to growing a program which is nationally recognized for providing an outstanding education to aspiring engineers, as well as peer-reviewed research with relevance. Scholarship in the Department includes both industry- and government-funded research projects focused on the practical application of engineering principles. Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Industrial and Systems Engineering faculty position in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering with a preferred start date of August 1, 2022. Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate and potentially graduate courses throughout the curriculum, with emphasis on traditional ISYE topics such as facility layout, work measurement, and/or cost accounting. Some service activities at the department, college, or university level are expected. Required Qualifications
An earned Master's degree, or a foreign equivalent, in Industrial and Systems Engineering, or related field is required. Preferred Qualifications
An earned Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, or the foreign equivalent, or related field is preferred. Industry, research or teaching experience in traditional ISYE topics such as facility layout, work measurement, and/or cost accounting College level and/or online teaching experience Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community Required Documents to Attach
