Exciting Opportunity with Hussian College Los Angeles, CA campus!


The Career Services Coordinator assists students by providing excellent support to positively impact their ability to obtain careers upon completion of their program. Coach young entertainment industry professionals towards alignment of career aspirations, current industry trends and demonstrated skills and abilities to refine student career goals. This position also provides leadership, vision, administrative support, and career employment related services to enhance the marketable employment skills of graduating students. Must be able to work flexible hours and be available in the evening to work a minimum of one evening per week and occasional weekend events. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel locally to recruit new employers 20% of your week.


Education: Associates degree in Business or related field required.  


Experience: 1-3 years in Career Services, Sales, Business Development, or Human Resources Management from the staffing industry or higher education. Demonstrated skills in understanding career foundations and job placement. Experience in the entertainment industry (film, theatre, acting and dance).

Major Responsibility:
 Student Placement, CampusVue Maintenance, Student Advising, Administration, Other duties as assigned.

•    Able to speak effectively to both large and small groups of people.

•    Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare and maintain records, correspondence, reports, and other data.
•    Attend meetings and training events, which may include occasional travel.
•    Excellent customer service, telephone, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
•    Embrace and demonstrate on an ongoing basis Hussian's Mission, Vision, and core values.
