Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
Ability to work independently, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines and exercise good judgment

Promotes collaboration with patients and families in policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation in health care facility design, professional education, and delivery of care.Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: General Duties:
  • Schedule project visits
  • Weekly follow-up with community members
  • Data collection, entry, and quality control
  • Maintain project files
  • Lead group sessions with parents and students
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining outstanding relationships with community partners
  • Attend meetings with community partners
  • Meet contract deliverables as assigned by the sponsors .
  • Prepare monthly progress reports as needed .
  • Attending staff training and research meetings.
  • Participating in project planning and development of research protocols while insuring adherence to accepted scientific research principals and community engaged approaches.
Other duties: All other related duties/tasks as assigned.Job Summary This Community Program Coordinator position is designed to lead and manage administrative and technical work in support of grants from various granting agencies for cancer and public health related prevention outcomes. This work will include areas such as cancer prevention, tobacco, alcohol, and prescription drug misuse prevention, and other public health related topics. This work will take place in both rural and urban areas. The coordinator will lead in planning, implementation, data collection, data entry, and careful, exact documentation within the grant and institutional guidelines.Shift/Salary Shift: M-F; Days - May be required to work outside of normal business hours.
*This position is 100% grant funded.
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
