The Organizational Communication and Leadership program in the Department of Communication and Media Studies in the College of Communication at Butler University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, one-year instructor position with an expected start date of August 2022. We seek a colleague with expertise in Organizational Communication who is prepared to teach Organizational Communication, Advanced Organizational Communication, Contemporary Communication Theory, Social Media Storytelling, our public speaking course and potentially a course in the candidate’s area of specialty or in Media Literacy, all at the undergraduate level. The teaching load is 4 courses a semester (12 credit hours).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in organizational communication or a related discipline, although a PhD is preferred.
• Demonstrated record of pedagogical practices that are inclusive
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level
