The Department of Mathematics (www.ecu.edu/cs-cas/math) is one of the sixteen departments of the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences at East Carolina University. The department houses a research-active community, publishing across a variety of fields including mathematics, statistics, applied mathematics, and actuarial science. BA, BS, and MA degrees in mathematics are offered, all with concentrations in statistics available.

East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Statistics in the Department of Mathematics, contingent upon funding, beginning August 16, 2022. Minimum Education/Experience :
The successful applicant is expected to effectively teach courses in statistics and probability at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, establish and/or continue an active research program, pursue external funding, help promote our undergraduate and graduate programs, and provide appropriate service to the department, university, profession, and community.
A Ph.D in Statistics or closely related field is required. License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation :
