Job Summary The purpose of the Information Security Operations Manager Senior is to lead all aspects of the Operations team within Cyber Security. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Cyber Security staff, Operations team staff, campus IT professionals, faculty, and staff, consultants, professional groups, vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: Cyber Security staff, OIT management and staff, and user department management This position will supervise: Assigned staff

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Design and manage IT security incident processes

Job Duty 2 -
Design and manage IT vulnerability management processes

Job Duty 3 -
Design and manage IT security related digital forensic processes

Job Duty 4 -
Lead Security Operations team through Institute cyber security incidents

Job Duty 5 -
Function as business owner for all services offered in support of Security Operations processes

Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications
The job requires one who is task and detail oriented; flexible, and able years perform multiple, various tasks concurrently. Excellent communications skills are required as well as the ability years troubleshoot and solve problems that are varied nature.

Required Experience
Six years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science or IT

Preferred Experience
Seven years of related experience
