Clinical Assistant Professors of Social Work (NTT)

The Social Work program at St. Joseph’s College of New York is seeking several full-time Clinical Assistant Professors of Social Work (NTT) for our Masters’ degree in Social Work (MSW) to begin on our Long Island campus in the Fall of 2022.  The MSW program at SJC is a new program currently undergoing accreditation and is seeking candidates to begin in 2022, 2023 and 2024.  Appropriate candidates will possess an MSW from a CSWE accredited social work program as well as a PhD, DSW or related doctoral degree and 5+ years of social work practice experience.  Applicants must demonstrate strong teaching skills including the ability to teach in varied learning environments (land based, hybrid and online).  SJC places a strong emphasis on exemplary teaching with day, evening and/or weekend availability required to accommodate diverse student needs.  Successful candidates will maintain a 3-3 teaching load with additional responsibilities including participation in the CSWE accreditation process, college service and scholarship.  Ability to engage with diverse constituencies is required.
