The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a one-year, full-time Instructor (non-tenure track) beginning in August 2022 with the potential for renewal after the first year. We are searching for an individual who will be able to teach upper-level courses in ecology/conservation biology and contribute to introductory majors’ courses in the area ecology/evolution, biostatistics, and introductory genetics, as well as non-majors courses in the core curriculum. Typical teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester.

Applicants should have a MS in biology or related field (PhD/ABD preferred), a strong commitment to undergraduate education, and an interest in contributing to building an inclusive learning environment for an increasingly diverse student population. Candidates will be asked to provide evidence to their commitment for diversity and inclusion.
