Job Description Summary
This position manages the daily procurement operations for several administrative orgs/research centers managed by Fiscal Operations Group and several Revenue Business Units. Duties include managing Purchase Order, non Purchase Order, Purchasing Card and Concur processes. In addition, the position will also reconcile P Card transactions on a weekly basis and run monthly financial reports to reconcile accounts, prepare JE as needed.
This position also serves as a back up for Procurement Specialists in F&A, assists in Zendesk ticketing system, and provides support when there are Business Administrators on leave or vacations, and vacancies in other Wharton Departments.

Job Description

Responsibilities/Duties:

*Manages the daily procurement operations for several administrative orgs/research centers managed by Fiscal Operations Group and several Revenue Business Units. Duties include managing Purchase Order, non Purchase Order, Purchasing Card, Concur processes, and vendor management.

*Assists in Zendesk ticketing systems for Fiscal Operations Group and Revenue Business Units.

*Performs P Card Reconciliations on a weekly basis and runs monthly financial reports to reconcile accounts and prepare JE as needed

*Serves as back up for Procurement Specialist in F&A.

*Provides support when there are Business Administrators on leave or vacations, and vacancies in other Wharton departments.

*Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associates Degree and 2 to 3 years of financial customer service-oriented environment required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelors' Degree preferred. Excellent ability to prioritize work and to communicate well with a wide variety of constituents required. Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential information with responsibility and respect. Must be able to demonstrate strong customer-service ethic and excellent attention to detail. Prior experience and knowledge of Concur travel, purchasing processes and/or BEN Financials is preferred. Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and Power Point are required.
