Job Description:The Department of Urology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship-Trained Pediatric Urologist at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level for a full-time faculty position.
Background. The University of Florida (UF) Department of Urology at UF Health Shands Hospital is a tertiary referral center that serves the population of north central Florida, southern Georgia and surrounding communities. The candidate would join the Division of Pediatric Urology which has 2 full-time Pediatric Urologists, and a full-time Pediatric APRN. UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital was the #1 ranked Children’s Hospital in the state and the Division of Pediatric Urology was ranked #46 nationally in the 2021-22 U.S. News “Best Hospitals” survey. The Department has an additional 18 faculty members who provide expertise in endourology, oncology, female, male-infertility, and reconstructive surgery and was ranked 32nd in the country in the 2021-22 U.S. News “Best Hospitals” survey. UF is 5th ranked public university in the nation. UF College of Medicine is one of 16 colleges within the university and these colleges provide an environment rich in cross departmental collaborations. The UF College of Medicine is ranked in the top 50 of all U.S. medical schools for NIH research dollars awarded to medical schools and is ranked No. 22 among public institutions.
Job Description. We are seeking a candidate with a record of distinguished accomplishments, expertise in pediatric urologic surgery, proficiency in clinical care, and a clear commitment to student and resident education. The candidate would join a Department recognized for its clinical and research excellence. The Division is committed to providing comprehensive pediatric urologic care and the highest quality surgical services, including robotic surgery, for all genitourinary conditions.

Advertised Salary:Rank and salary commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:Applicants must have a M.D. degree and be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida and be board certified or eligible.
