Position: Assistant Professor of Biology
The College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics seeks a full-time Assistant Professor, tenure track, to begin Fall 2022.
We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Biology or a related discipline, with research interests that employ bioinformatic and computational methodologies to address biological or healthcare-related problems. Individuals with experience in biomedical data science are strongly encouraged to apply.
Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in biology, advising students, providing service to the University, and developing an active research program engaging undergraduate students.
Candidates should provide evidence of quality teaching experience and scholarly productivity. Postdoctoral training and experience teaching courses in anatomy and physiology and/or clinical microbiology are desirable.
