Responsibilities

Position provides oversight and quality control of automated systems and workflows used to deliver curricular content. Works directly with clinical coordinators and student support coordinators located at each regional medical school campus and other training sites to remotely resolve curriculum issues and route queries to the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME).

Supports the Year 3 and 4 Program Coordinator and Asst. Executive Chief Proctor for the NBME by purchasing high stakes examinations. Assists with daily collection and reporting of confidential score reports; and weekly reporting of USMLE upcoming examinees and confidential score reports. Responsible for uploading and troubleshooting this sensitive data into Student Academics application.

Responsible for troubleshooting issues for all users of the COM's in-house software applications to include, but not limited to: Student Academics, Encounter Tracking System and Evaluation System. Triages and escalates all unresolved programming issues to the COM IT departments' database administration group for resolution.

Shares responsibility for maintaining the OME's public website to include URL verification and continuity with published syllabi, monitors and maintains the current Learning Management Systems (e.g. Canvas) and other online curricular applications (e.g. Aquifer, uWISE, OnlineMedEd, etc.) for the year 3 and 4 program. Collaborates with COM library staff to maintain best practice resource documentation.

Shares responsibility for developing training materials for new technology and applications. Creates documentation for new processes as they are developed. Responsible for testing new technology before implementation and identifying potential user challenges. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Provides primary administrative support for all Year 3 and 4 Committee and Education Directors subcommittee meetings. Records and disseminates minutes and meeting notes. Responsible for preparation of correspondence and scheduling meetings. Updates and maintains the Year 3 and 4 Committee MedNet site. Acts as academic support for continuous special projects and assignments and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree; or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.

    Experience in communicating effectively verbally and in writing. Experience in conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users. Experience in documenting existing and new processes. Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Experience in performing accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Experience in prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously. Experience in compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, or equivalent software.Ability to utilize problem solving skills.Ability to meet project deadlines.
Preferred
    Knowledge of applicable computer applications and computer functions to include Intranet, Internet, Canvas, and client/server software.Knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodology.Knowledge of principles and practices of academic program planning, development, and evaluation.Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of data collection.Skill in preparing clear and concise reports, policies, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials.
