Description:

This position is expected to develop and maintain a research program in your area of expertise, to be involved in the teaching of graduate and medical students, and to provide service to the department and university by serving on committees. Additionally it is expected that the successful candidate will perform all functions related to ongoing studies including supervising students and laboratory technicians. In addition, the position requires writing of manuscripts, submission of progress reports to funding agencies, and maintenance of laboratory records. 


Qualifications:
  1. PhD., MD. or equivalent degree with a strong background in cardiovascular biology.
  2.  Research experience in biochemistry and mitochondrial biology.
  3. Experience in maintaining genetically engineered mice colonies is required.
