Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing superior customer service to both internal and external customers. Collaborates with faculty to develop innovative educational courses using clinical simulators and multimedia equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of routine and complex technical and clinical simulations
  • Works closely with faculty to integrate the Clinical Simulators into the learning strategies and assessment process of program curriculum
  • Performs pre/post-simulation activities, provides theatrical support and assists in creating various scenario settings
  • Provides technical support to students, faculty and other users
  • Tracks student attendance and provides supervisor with monthly attendance reports
  • Maintains supplies inventory and recommends replenishment as needed
  • Serves as an assistant to upper management and senior staff members
  • Contributes toward specific projects and functions related to clinical simulation
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education and related medical certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Ability to take responsibility of and follow MDC, Clinical Simulation Lab policies and procedures; as well as, OSHA guidelines
  • Knowledge and ability to use instructional technology
  • Ability to demonstrate competency in given credential-bearing assessments; to include but not limited to, CPR, ACLS, PALS, and other skills
  • Ability to work within well established procedures, guidelines, and follow directions
  • Ability to effectively handle several assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
Additional Requirements

The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
