The Learning Systems Institute is a multidisciplinary research and development organization dedicated to improving learning, education systems, and human performance. Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing contract and grant-funded projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project Manager will participate in proposal development, plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project. The Project Manager will be responsible to recruit, train, and oversee project staff and consultants. Lastly, the Project Manager will be responsible for building partnerships with stakeholders and collaborators on projects. Projects include educational research, teacher professional development, software application development, instructional resource development, and other projects related to education.

Qualifications Minimum of Master’s degree in business, education, or other related field.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Project Manager.

Minimum of three (3) years supervising personnel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent teamwork skills.

Excellent leadership skills.

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Must be willing to travel 30% of the time.

Preferred Experience in K-12 or K-12 R&D projects.

Experience with project management software.
