Required Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible administrative experience to include some HR-related experience.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to maintain confidentialityExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer software/databasesResponsibilities The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting with general and specific compensation and classification related duties in support of the HR Compensation and Performance Management section of University HR Services and responsible for Compensation and Performance Management specific administrative functions. The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinates with HR Business Partner team to record classification and compensation requests in electronic log and distribute for review and processing to assigned HR Business Partner or Compensation Analyst. When requests are completed by a Compensation Analyst and returned, scans and sends compensation memo and/or requests to requesting department and other sections as required and logs as completed in electronic log.
- Runs and distributes scheduled reports each Friday from OneUSG Connect.
- Maintains Compensation Action memo templates. Coordinates with HR Business Partner team as necessary to ensure training and accurate completion of these memos.
- Creates and maintains hard copy and electronic position files. Performs general administrative functions for the section (i.e. typing, scanning, copying, filing, etc.).
- Creates and maintains existing non-person profiles by job code in OneUSG Connect
- Responds to general classification and compensation inquiries. When necessary, directs questions to Director, Compensation Analysts or HRIS Analysts as necessary.
- Assist with special projects and assignments to include, but not limited to, data collection and compilation, organization and interpretation of information of data, formatting of excel spreadsheets, etc.
- Perform all other related duties/tasks as assigned.
