Post-Doctoral Research Associate Position in the Center for Electric Power (CURENT)

Regular, Full-time, Pay Grade 00

The University of Tennessee is pleased to announce an immediate opening for a post-doctoral associate position. This position resides at the Center for Electric Power (CURENT) at the University of Tennessee, in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and will be supervised by Prof. Kai Sun.

The post-doctoral researcher will participate in research projects in power system fields of power system simulation, stability analysis and control.  The Research Associate will conduct the following tasks:

    Research and development on analytical methods for multi-machine power system stability.Tests and demonstrate developed methods on realistic power system modelsSupport other related research activities including writing proposals and collaboration with other team members.
The initial appointment is a permanent full-time assignment.



Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or will complete degree requirements by December 31, 2021.
