Job Summary:

Responsible for managing all aspects of the college’s web presence, especially DMACC.edu. Provide ongoing maintenance, updates and upgrades to website content and functionality, ensure website presence to drive the highest organic traffic possible. Troubleshoot website and improve the user experience.

Essential Functions:

Develop, design, implement and maintain the DMACC Website for the best user experience. Oversee web brand integrity, evaluation and usability of links using appropriate software, and coordinating scripting and programming efforts. Optimize website content, landing pages and consult on digital ad and paid search copy and strategies. Work with digital marketing to update website content, or develop landing pages to align with digital marketing efforts.Share web expertise, skills and experience with DMACC programs, departments and locations to meet their marketing goals and objectives through the website content development.Develop and implement website strategies to support recruitment of students. Supervise student workers on web projects and activities.Maintain quality assurance and accessibility compliance through Site Improve. Utilize a ticketing system to respond to faculty and staff web requests. Coordinate efforts to ensure compliance of current ADA standards for website and related content.Ensure full compliance with website accessibility laws and regulations. Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues, including broken links and outdated content. Identify industry trends and website best practices and update website accordingly. Generate reports to measure the effectiveness of web technologies in DMACC marketing efforts.Use Google Analytics and other software to track and monitor website metrics and create and run performance reports. Perform keyword and competitor research.Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree plus one year of website experience or an Associate’s degree plus three years of website experience.Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and best website practices.Experience using Microsoft SharePoint, Dreamweaver, Site Improve, Google Analytics and Adobe Suite products.Experience managing YouTube channels.Experience in search engine optimization (SEO).
Experience using video on a website.Strong communication skills.Strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications:

College/University or large organization website experience.Graphic Design experience.Knowledge of UI/UX principles.Experience engaging DMACC visitors through the use of existing and emerging technologies.
