Facilities and Services (F&S) is in the midst of a transformational project to implement an enterprise asset management system. The Data Analyst will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Improvement and Strategic Initiatives and working with different F&S team members to transform raw equipment data to meet the needs of the new system.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleansing and update large datasets containing campus equipment data
  • Comparing datasets with floorplans, drawings and other equipment documentation and updating as required
  • Learning and understanding templates and data fields for loading equipment data into the new system
  • Transforming and reorganizing equipment data into specified formats
  • Working with subject matter experts to perform quality assurance on both raw, transformed, and loaded data, i.e. data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
  • Participating in and learning from mock data loads
  • Reviewing and reporting on progress to the project team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a remote team setting
  • Some experience in handling medium to large data sets
