Founded in 1842, Roanoke College is an independent, residential, liberal arts college serving 1,900 undergraduate students. It is located on an attractive 80-acre campus in Salem, Virginia, only minutes away from the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains and the city of Roanoke, which has been named a top city in which to live and retire. With a 13:1 student to faculty ratio and an average class size of 18, Roanoke features small classes and faculty mentoring.
