Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director of HR, Provost Centers, the Recruiting Coordinator will handle all administrative support for recruitment for the Provost Centers. The Recruiting Coordinator will be an integral part of the Provost Center's Diversity Hiring Initiative. The main responsibilities of the Recruiting Coordinator will be to assist in the redaction of all identifying information related to an applicant's resume using Adobe Pro and keeping track of diversity metrics for all open requisitions. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to creating requisitions in Workday, assisting hiring managers with recruitment in Workday, and ensuring all processes are done promptly and efficiently. The Recruiting Coordinator will also assist in actively recruiting candidates for hard to fill jobs. This includes research, sourcing, outreach, and phone screens with potential candidates. The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for compiling and reporting data on an as needed basis and will answer questions related to hiring and onboarding.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Redact all identifying information on applicants' resumes in congruence with the Diversity Hiring Initiative.
  • Update hiring managers with diversity metrics of applicant pools for all open requisitions
  • Work with the Senior Staff Recruiter and Recruiting Coordinator to identify qualified candidates for open requisitions
  • Primary customer service contact for applicants, potential applicants, HR Liaisons, Hiring Managers and others across the University
  • Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boards
  • Source candidates by using recruiting databases and social media
  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
  • Post jobs and edit jobs when necessary
  • Coordinate and monitor office processes for quality control; communicate concerns/issues to Manager


Qualifications:

Required:
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Pro
  • Proficiency with the Office Suite of products including Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel
  • Passion for a high level of customer service, strong written and oral communication skills and keen technology skill


Preferred:
  • BA/BS
  • Prior experience with an applicant tracking systems
  • Experience in an HR or Recruitment office


Budgeted Pay:

$20 an hour, anticipated 20 hour work week.
