Grove City College invites applications for a full-time management faculty position in the Department of Management and Marketing. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate courses and may have the opportunity to teach at the graduate level. The ideal candidate will demonstrate interest and effectiveness in teaching courses related to management in applied business contexts.

The successful candidate will have the ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: management (specifically principles of management), leadership, human resources, and supply chain management. The ability to teach courses in other areas such as statistics, and business analysis will be a strength, as will the interest and ability to teach online and graduate courses. A Ph.D. or D.B.A in a business-related field is preferred; a Master’s degree in a related field is the minimum qualification required to apply. Persons who possess significant work experience will receive preference, as will persons who have experience teaching in a graduate program. Salary commensurate with qualifications.

Grove City College’s Business Program is accredited by ACBSP and includes three separate academic departments: Accounting and Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Management and Marketing. The business program houses nine major programs of study, twelve minors, sixteen faculty, and approximately 500 students. The Department of Management and Marketing offers six majors in Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, International Business, Business Analysis, and Business Statistics. The department launched a fully on-line M.S. in Business Analytics program this past summer (2021). The successful candidate may have the opportunity to teach online undergraduate courses. Experience teaching courses in an online modality is an asset.

Among their courses, students take 38 to 50 credit hours of general education classes focusing on humanities, social sciences, logical and quantitative reasoning, laboratory sciences, and foreign language. In addition to this core curriculum, students may choose from an array of majors and areas of study that range from the humanities to the sciences and engineering. A highly-dedicated faculty provides the basis for educational excellence at Grove City and offers a level of one-to-one support not often encountered. Moreover, our faculty have a passion for developing and guiding individualized student research projects in every major.
