Brief Position Summary:

PRE-SEASON:

* Cutting and removing trees
* Mowing and clearing trails of natural debris
* Work with others to improve drainage and erosion issues on the trails

WINTER / SKI SEASON:

* Receive direction from supervisor regarding when to start making snow
* Responsible for quality and efficient output of snow, adjusting guns as needed
* Equipment inspection and routine maintenance and repairs to snow-making equipment
* Operate snowmaking system
* Operate snow mobile to each snowmaking destinations and facility snowmaking process
* Test and communicate snow quality via radio
* Place snow guns and hoses appropriately
* Operate high voltage equipment and high pressure air and water systems utilizing appropriate safety precautions
* Relocate and set up various types of portable snowmaking equipment
* Other duties as assigned
