About the College/Unit/Department:Founded in 1964, the Institute of Higher Education offers the PhD, EdD, and MEd degrees and collaborates on projects and programs with other academic units at UGA, state agencies, and both national and international universities. Faculty explore the critical issues of higher education, in teams and individually, with particular emphasis on organization, governance, policy, finance, and faculty development.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:An earned Doctorate in the social sciences, public policy, education, or management is required for this position. Experience in funded research projects, conference presentations, and publications is expected.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :The Institute of Higher Education seeks a postdoctoral research and teaching associate for the 2019-20 academic year. The person hired will work with Institute faculty and students to develop and pursue research funding opportunities, extend the Institute’s external scholarly and funding networks, enhance the Institute’s internal research infrastructure, and participate in collaborative research projects (.80 time). In addition, the person hired will collaborate in teaching introductory quantitative methods coursework for the Institute’s graduate students (.20 time).
