Job Description Summary:

David D. Reh School of Business at Clarkson University invites applications for a teaching-track Instructor/Assistant Professor in the areas of marketing and entrepreneurship, to begin on or around August 1st, 2022.
The standard teaching load for a teaching-track Assistant Professor and a Professor of Practice is 3 courses per semester (i.e., 6 courses in an academic year) and 4 courses per semester (i.e., 8 courses in an academic year), respectively. Candidates are expected to be able to teach undergraduate- and graduate-level courses. Courses that must be covered include Entrepreneurship & Business Innovation and Principles of Marketing; examples of other courses to be taught include but are not limited to Innovation and Entrepreneurship Strategy and Marketing Research Methods. The successful candidate must demonstrate awareness and experience understanding the needs of a diverse student population through inclusive course materials and teaching strategies.
In addition to teaching, the selected candidate will demonstrate sustained engagement necessary for maintaining faculty qualifications consistent with our AACSB accreditation standards. The candidate is expected to actively participate in the School’s (and the University’s) shared-governance, by serving on relevant faculty committees, advising students, and be part of our collegial environment. Seeking collaborations with the private sector and producing impactful scholarship that advances the teaching and practice of entrepreneurship, marketing, and/or related fields, are highly encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field with significant work related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

An earned Ph.D. in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

Physical Demands:
