Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, recruitment, marketing, or higher education.Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Recruiting/Travel: Promotes the university's academic offerings by traveling to high schools in and out of the state; attends targeted fairs, schedules onsite and offsite visits
  • Knowlege/Counseling: Maintains proper knowledge of the services and programs in order to properly counsel and advise potential students seeking admission
  • Tours: Assists with execution of tours, activities and events both on and off campus, providing information session and assisting with tours as needed
  • Inquiries: Responds to student inquiries by working the front desk; responds to assigned work tickets and email inquiries from student
  • Other Duties: Contributes to additional functions and projects in the Office of Academic Admissions; and perform all other related duties/tasks as assigned by the Associate Director or Director of Admissions
Job Summary This is a temporary position primarily responsible for recruiting qualified high school and transfer students to Augusta University through meeting with prospective students and their families, traveling to recruitment events, giving informational presentations, and assisting with recruitment events on and off campus. This position will represent the office of admissions in various recruitment events and requires extensive travel overnight. The Admissions recruiter will report to the Associate Director of Admissions for Recruitment and work in concert with the recruitment team, academic departments, student success offices, and other partners, to recruit students and meet enrollment goals for the institution.Shift/Salary Shift: Mon-Fri; Days; PT*Not to exceed 1300 hours Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position Recruitment Period:11/18/21 - Until FilledConditions of Employment All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting with Augusta University.
