Summary

The Learning Specialist will oversee, design, and deliver programs and support services to enhance medical student learning, focusing on medical students who are either at risk or have established academic deficiencies. This individual will be responsible for monitoring student progress, evaluating and determining individual student learning needs, and assisting with the development of effective strategies to empower students to achieve their academic goals and become life-long learners.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Educational Psychology, Special Education, or a related field

• Two years' experience working in a post-secondary education setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in educational assessment, academic remediation, and learning styles

• Experience working in a medical school
