This position coordinates and performs advanced administrative and training coordination duties within the Center for Industrial Services (CIS) and provides direct support to three Program Managers.  Duties and responsibilities include coordinating training and event registration and logistics; coordinating internal communications and training calendars; managing budget and procurement processes, processing data and information for grants administration and internal reports; developing training materials, providing communications and support to customers and performing other administrative duties to support CIS programs.

The position is responsible for the input of data, reconciles financial reports, manages purchasing and prepares progress and performance reports related to grant requirements.  This position is responsible for budgetary recommendations that impact training and event expenditures (training space, food, materials, printing) and making purchases as needed.  The position will manage purchasing card and monthly reconciliations for program expenditures.  The position will enter staff time and other information into CIS internal databases for billing purposes.

Qualifications
Required qualifications:

Associate degree required

SAP experience

Strong customer service, planning, collaboration and communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn office, registration and customer management software systems is required. 
Ability to organize and manage electronic records-keeping platforms.
Ability to reconcile financial ledgers. 
Ability to write clear and concise business communications (emails, agendas, meeting minutes). 
Flexibility and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. 

Experience in using electronic customer management and learning systems; demonstrated flexibility in handling a constantly changing office environment; demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to solve administrative issues and provide exceptional customer service.
